TREE PRUNING

The annual pruning of the over 100 trees that have been planted to create the arboretum in the cemetery will take place in late fall.  Pruning is done to remove deadwood and to ensure the ongoing health of the trees.

CEMETERY MAINTENANCE

The cemetery is looking for volunteers to help keep it neat and tidy.  It involves walking the cemetery, picking up any debris, twigs and branches throughout the summer.  Some pruning may be required including the ivy in and around the memorial garden.

Anyone who is interested please contact Sally Mitchell at semitch215@gmail.com.

STONE CLEANING

We welcome volunteers to assist with the cleaning of historic stones. A"refresher" session will be held on a Saturday morning in June. More details to follow.  Once trained, volunteers may work on their own and at their own pace.

DONATIONS

Donations for ongoing tree maintenance are most welcome. St Mark's issues annual charitable donation receipts for donations totalling $50.00 or more.
